Three Awesome Things to Read

Kind peeps have been sending me free stuff to read. Right now I'm knee deep in Diana Peterfreund's unicorn thriller, Rampant. Having never read a single thing about unicorns ever in my entire life, I confess to being largely ignorant of the conventions she's testing and mutating in this wonderful story. But boy does it keep me reading. It comes out on August 25th, the same day as (Re)Cycler and the paperback of Cycler. Buy them all and have yourself a blast.I've also been given the latest edition of Sybil's Garage, which, per usual, is a total joy. Matt Kressel and his team always find the most delectable and unique stories. I unfortunately am incapable of writing short stories any more, but these guys are keeping the art form alive.And finally, the wonderfully talented Joey Allison Sayers sent me her autobiographical comic, Just So You Know. Detailing the experiences of a crossdressing man who makes the journey into womanhood, the story is touching, funny, and totally enlightening. Joey also sells amazingly funny t-shirts on her website, like this one:So you see, while I'm squirreled away down here in Florida, making funny faces at my lovely little girl, people are still out there generating massively excellent content.
