Hydration: okayGay kissing: not okayWe can all drink water on airplanes again, thank goodness, but be careful who you cuddle.According to The New Yorker, a flight attendendant reprimanded a gay couple for kissing on an American Airlines flight from Paris to New York on August 22.Apparently the men were told their behavior was upsetting to other passengers. When they challenged this assertion, one of them, George Tsikhiseli, a television journalist, was summoned to the cockpit where the captain warned him to stop arguing with the crew or he would divert the plane.Whew! Tragedy averted. Imagine what harm those men could have done if they'd persisted in their dangerous snuggling.Incidentally, according to eye witnesses, they weren't making out or fondling each other, just giving each other little pecks now and then like the enemies of freedom they must be.Sure, it's one small incident. I'm sure a new Age of Airborne Intolerance is not upon us. But is anyone else getting a little freaked out about this stuff?
