Elizabeth Gilbert on Fairy Juice and the Creative Process
I shared this fantastic talk by Elizabeth Gilbert (author of the bestsellling Eat, Pray, Love) with a few friends of mine recently and figured I should probably spread it around even more widely. In the talk, which she gave at the Technology Entertainment Design Conference, she discusses the creative process, the pressure to be a "genius," and the inherently fickle nature of inspiration. It actually made me cry. And I don't even believe in fairies. Check it.Also, at the advice of the wily Maureen Johnson, I'm going to attempt to Blog Every Day in April. No promises though. I'll do my best, but seriously people, I'm hanging on by a thread here.
