Woofy's Art Show!

Holy abstract landscapes, Batman! Woofy's show goes up tomorrow, Thursday, September 27th! Where, you ask? Why, it's at Dillon Gallery, which is located at 555 West 25th Street between 10th and 11th Avenues in Manhattan's hopping Chelsea gallery district. Here's how his gallerist describes the work:

Woffinden's photographs begin with the camera but his final images transgress the conventions of photography. Through the use of camera motion and the layering of multiple images, he breaks down the stark objectivity of the lens. The resulting abstracted images suggest the landscape of the subconscious as much as the literal landscape itself. With their sense of constant motion, the images never allow the eye to rest. In fact, they refuse to be passive, rebelling against their own stillness.

I couldn't have said it better myself. The opening reception is Thursday, September 27th from 6-8 PM. The wine is free. The art, not so much.
