Big Butts Part Deux

I tried to come up with something intelligent to say about the Nike ad campaign featuring women with big butts, thunder thighs, broad shoulders, bruised knees, and other not-traditionally-feminine features, but I couldn’t. I just wanted an excuse to put this picture on my blog along with the following quote from the print ad:My butt is big and round like the letter C... It’s a space heater for my side of the bed. It’s my ambassador to those who walk behind me. It’s a border collie that herds skinny women away from the best deals at clothing sales.Now I’m all for bad poetry. But how on earth does this woman’s butt herd skinny women away? Are skinny women frightened of her butt? And what’s with the space heater analogy? How does that work?But anyway, isn’t it a pretty bum? Don’t you just like looking at it?
